New Delhi: Hyundai Motor India has announced that it has handed over advanced diagnostic kits to ICMR to test the COVID-19 patients. These testing kits are claimed to be capable of diagnosing 25,000 people.
Hyundai Motor India has announced that it donated Rs 5 crore to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Relief Fund earlier this week. The South Korean automaker announced earlier that it is making monetary contributions to relief funds, importing advanced diagnostics kits from South Korea.
Apart from Hyundai, several other automakers present in India including Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra & Mahindra, TVS Motor Company, etc have also announced that they are working on ventilators, face maks, face shields to help the Indian government and the country’s health sector in the fight against coronavirus.
